∧ How to get there:
Costa Rica is easily accessible by international flights landing at San Jose International Airport (SJO), around 4 hours drive to the camp; or landing at Limon airport, at 1 hour drive to the camp.

∧ From the airport:
Surfcamp Shuttle: We offer a shuttle service from the airport of Limon (OIL) to the camp in Puerto Viejo, starting from 60usd each way. Rental car: We recommend renting a car to drive around Costa Rica. Public Transports: From San Jose, catch a bus from Terminal del Caribe, located at Av. 11-13 Central Street. Look for Autotransportes Mepe, which offers many buses to Puerto Viejo every day. After a 4.5-hour ride, the bus passes right in front of Selina Puerto Viejo’s doors. Ask the driver to drop you off at Selina, or use the old Agapi Hotel “el antiguo hotel Agapi” as a reference.
∧ Health Care and Visa:
Most nationalities do NOT need a special visa to go to Costa Rica (90 days on arrival). It is recommended to take various copies of your passport with you, if the original gets lost. Public and private hospital facilities have good standard level, however, we recommend traveling with an international travel insurance.
