Pasta Point is a break located in the North Male Atoll in one of the most surf consistent areas of the Maldives. Here at our resort you will be sleeping just a few steps from the wave, accessible exclusively to resort customers (up to 30 surfers per week)!
Dhonveli Beach & Spa Resort is located in front of the famous Pasta Point break, one of the most beautiful waves of the entire Maldives archipelago.
In addition to Pasta Point, other world-famous spots like Sultan, Honky's and Jailbreak are just a few minutes away by dhoni boat transfer. You can see these waves from Dhonveli and decide where to surf, depending from the conditions. Our dhony boats operate from 6:15 am for those who want a surf session before breakfast. In the afternoon we move up to Chickens and Colas (or Cokes), about 45 minutes of sailing. We are connected via radio with other boats so we know in advance the conditions and the crowd factor!
Pasta Point Resort is suitable for intermediate and experienced surfers, but also for couples, honeymoons and families. We are equipped with SPA center and Diving Padi center. Additionally, we will take you every day to surf other waves of the North Male atoll, in the Maldives. ...MáS INFORMACIóN

∧ How to get there:
To reach the Maldives, you need to fly to Male international airport (MLE), normally accessible via Saudi Arabia or Sri Lanka.

∧ From the airport:
Private Speedboat Transfer: Included in the Pasta Point resort pack, we offer Airport/Resort Return Transfer, with private resort speedboat.
∧ Health Care and Documents:
Most nationalities do NOT need a special visa to go to Maldives (30 days on arrival). We always recommend to check the validity of your passport before travelling (at least 6 months validity from the scheduled return date) and to take various copies of your passport with you, if the original gets lost. There are good hospital facilities in Male city but we recommend traveling with an international travel insurance. No specific vaccine is required.
∧ Currency:
The local currency is MALDIVIAN RUPIA: 1 MVR = 0,056 € Usually also Euro and Dollars are accepted in resorts and boats.
